Happy Holidays from IJ.com

If you are just stumbling in here for the first time, or the first time in awhile, welcome!

It's been a awhile since I've last updated my personal site, but recently I've gotten the blogging bug, and since I'm still paying to occupy this space on the internet, I thought it best to actually put this site to some good use.

I've had a blog in some shape or form for 16 years now. I've blogged professionally and recreationally. I've had sites that focused on sports, reading, writing and pop culture, but I've always felt most at home when being able to combine all of my interest into a one stop shop of sorts.

So here is my pet project for the rest of 2016 heading into, and hopefully through, the new year.

This site is going to look a lot different from its former self. I'm going to do my best to make navigating the blog a lot easier and more enjoyable. The majority of posts here are going to be a collection of links, photos, videos, and other interesting tidbits I find from internet at large - basically I want this place to serve as a digital scrapbook.

That's not to say that I won't be posting longer stuff here, but when I do want to go deep on something, I'll excerpt it out for the sake of the main page having a more aesthetically pleasing look.

The next couple of weeks are incredibly busy for me. My wife Theresa and I are moving to a place in the heart of the city we live in - something we are incredibly excited to be doing. There are also Christmas festivities to be had, and mercifully, a New Year on the horizon.

So much to do, so little time. But I promise we will talk again soon.
